The region is relatively unknown and not discovered yet by mass tourism which makes you step into the real authentic Italy. People are warm and relaxed, taking their time to make a chat with the people who are visiting their beloved region. It makes them happy to welcome tourists. A picturesquely surrounding with a countless variety of hills, mountains, valleys decorated with olive yards, fields with sunflowers and red poppies. The coast offers you a mixture of sandy beaches, rocks end cliffs.

Mombaroccio

You’ll be driving through precisely restored medieval fortified villages like Mombaroccio and special towns like Urbino (Unesco listing), town of birth from artists like Rafael and Donate Bramante. Urbino is looked upon, even more than Florence, as the cradle for the Renaissance. Besides castles like Gradara you can stumble around churches, museums and archeologic places.

All four seasons offer the explorer of Le Marche the possibility to enjoy the surprises the region offers. Live the colours and senses of nature, the local products like olive oil, wine and truffles and more of: all the charm of the local people. Every week we organise excursions to farmers in the neighbourhood to look at the production and taste the products.

Throughout the year local markets and festivities are organised, they’re really worthwhile visiting.

Local restaurants astonish the visitor with their pure, honest meals. On the nature side there are various national parks, recent discovered stalactite caves, rocky mountains and canyons.

A large variety on a short distance, from sea, coast, hills till mountains which offer a lot of possibilities.

Colourfull hills

The mountains and hills are perfect for walking, biking and horse riding. Along the coast you’ll find several possibilities for sailing and (kyte)surfing. Le Marche is housing several good 18 holes golf courses.
